All apps
One core under every app
OOXML owns the format logic. Each viewer repository owns its browser interface and framework bindings, with shared controls and supporting codecs underneath. Coverage varies by format; the beta apps document their current limits.
- ooxml-core
- The shared engine: file packaging, drawings, charts, SmartArt, editing and live collaboration.
- pptx-viewer
- PowerPoint components for React, Vue, Angular, Svelte and plain JavaScript.
- docx-viewer
- Word components for the same frameworks, plus Solid. Still in beta, so expect gaps.
- visio-viewer
- Public beta for local .vsdx diagrams, shared SVG rendering and experimental plain-text editing. Its npm packages are placeholders.
- xlsx-viewer
- Excel UI and six framework bindings over ooxml-core/xlsx: the xlsx-editor web component, live demos and docs. The public beta opens workbooks, edits cells and calculates formulas in the browser.
- ooxml-ui
- Shared browser controls used across the viewer interfaces, maintained in the ooxml repository.
- ole2
- Compound-file containers and legacy binary Office codecs, included through the core's format loaders.
- emf-converter
- EMF and WMF graphics conversion for supported embedded metafiles.
- mtx-decompressor
- MicroType Express decompression for supported embedded EOT fonts.
